Nonsurgical body sculpting

Nonsurgical body sculpting is a procedure used to remove or reduce pockets of stubborn fat. The process is also known as nonsurgical fat reduction. Various nonsurgical body sculpting techniques are available to help you shape and contour your body.

Other methods use heat to reduce fat in the targeted areas: 1.Cryolipolysis or CoolSculpting
2.Laser Treatment:

Nonsurgical body sculpting is not supposed to serve as a weight loss solution. It is ideal for people who have attained their desired weight but wish to get rid of stubborn fat pockets. Usually, this means excess fat that stubbornly resists diet and exercise. To qualify for most body contouring procedures, you must have a body mass index of less than 30.

Several sessions will be required for a nonsurgical body sculpting procedure. Afterwards, you may look shapelier and more toned.

Nonsurgical body sculpting techniques work in one of two ways. Some work by freezing fat cells and ultimately destroying them.

Cryolipolysis or CoolSculpting: Cryolipolysis is a minimally invasive technology that relies on extreme cold to break down fat cells, reducing fat pockets. The surgeon places a paneled or cupped device on top of your skin around the area to be treated. The device then lowers the temperature enough to freeze the fat cells and destroy them.

Laser Treatment: SculpSure is an example of a treatment used for body contouring. It works through the application of controlled heat to dismantle subcutaneous fat.

  • It requires no general anesthesia or incisions and leaves no scars.
  • It requires little or no downtime.
  • It produces few or no side effects.
  • It yields gradual results, so the treatment is discreet.
  • The results may last for as long as you maintain your ideal weight

Body Wraps

A body wrap is a spa treatment experience and can also be called a body ‘cocoon’. It begins with some kind of exfoliation, which is a fancy word that means removing dead skin cells. Usually, a spa therapist will use a high quality scrub to make sure the exfoliation is as efficient as possible.

The spa therapist will then apply oils and ingredients to the body, depending on the wrap. Afterwards, they may wrap you in plastic, blankets or bandages. As you can imagine, body wraps aren’t for those of us who are claustrophobic. But there are many excellent benefits to body wraps that can make this spa treatment appealing.

We all know that a good body scrub brings loads of benefits. But a body wrap can also bring a variety of feel good feelings, depending on its type. As a spa treatment, body wraps can really vary. So to help make things easier, we’ve listed a couple of body wraps below.

Hydrating body wraps are fairly simple as wraps go, using a natural body cream to make the skin smooth and healthy. After a body scrub, cream is applied around the body and left for a short time. A hydrating body wrap is great for when your skin is dry and suffering from over exposure to sun

Algae wraps help to nourish and detoxify the skin. After a scrub, algae is applied to the skin, usually in a paste form. You are then wrapped in foil or a blanket for a short while. When time is up, you enjoy a shower as you remain laying down. If you have cellulite, algae wraps are meant to be especially helpful.

We’ve all heard of ‘detox’, but what it essentially means is ridding the body of toxins that make us feel bad. A detox wrap usually means the application of mud or clay that is covered across the body. Afterwards, you’re wrapped in plastic or a blanket and time flows away. The effects of a detox body wrap can be quite substantial. You’ll feel lighter and healthier. But you’ll also suffer and feel very ‘heavy’ if you eat a large meal shortly after.
